If in case, the client device uses 2.4 GHz band for connecting to Belkin extender, then your extender will also use 2.4 GHz band for sending and receiving data.
  • Cross Band: If you wish to transfer through Cross Band, then you should opt for this option. Here, if you have 5 GHz band for connecting to Belkin extender, then the extender will use 2.4 GHz for transferring the data to your router. Also, if any of your devices use 2.4 GHz for transferring data, then the Belkin extender will be 5 GHz for transferring the data to your router.
  • Use 2.4 GHz band only: Users can opt for this option if they wish to transfer the data using 2.4 GHz band between range extender and root. Belkin range extender with 2.4 GHz band.
  • Use 5 GHz band only: Users should opt for this option if they wish to transfer the data using 5 GHz band between range extender and root. As a result, it slows down the mode of communication for multiple devices to connect with Belkin's Wi-Fi Range Extender.
